Rajasthan holds enormous potential for Food and Agro based Industrial development. Agriculture is the backbone of Rajasthan Economy. Greentech Mega Food Park is based on the demand- driven hub-and-spoke model with provisions for strong backward and forward linkages which create a sustainable agro-horticultural value chain. The project is focused on processing of grains, fruits, vegetables and spices.

It consists of three vital components viz. the Central Processing Center (CPC), Primary Processing Centers (PPCs) and the integrated cold chain network that connects the CPC with the PPCs. It would also connect the CPC and PPCs with demand centers such as tier 1 and tier 2 cities and export markets.

The project has four farm-proximate Primary Processing Centers (PPCs) and 7-8 collection centers spread across districts of Ajmer, Jaipur, Bhilwara, Jodhpur, Tonk, Rajasmand, Nagaur and Pali. These PPCs shall be equipped with warehousing and cold storage facilities.

This Mega Park is located at Roopangarh village located in Ajmer and possess approximately 85.44 acres of land which comprises of the latest infrastructure with all possible facilities. It enables the 'Farm to Fork' concept. This park aims to reduce wastage, enhance value addition of fruits, vegetables, animal husbandry and agro-based produce, suitable for the food processing industry and encourage the setting up of post-management harvest infrastructure while planning additional facilities at the farm gate and as near as possible to the source of production.
